About Us

Supporters Trusts have sprung up all over the UK, in 2005 there are now over 130 connected to premiership, football league and non league clubs.  It has been proved over the years that supporters trusts are a successful format for organisations seeking greater representation and influence at their club. A supporters trust is a democratic, accountable, inclusive and formally constituted organisation.

Supporters trusts are set up for many reasons, often when clubs are in crisis.  Though this was not the case at Millwall, the Trust was set up with the underlying objective of giving the fans the opportunity to have their voices heard and have more influence at our Club.

Aims

• To achieve proper representation and influence for Millwall supporters at our club
• To contribute positively to the future success of Millwall FC.

Objectives

These objectives are written into our constitution. Everything the Trust does MUST be in line with achieving these objectives

• To improve communication between the Club and its supporters, and to encourage the Club to take proper account of the interests of its supporters.
  To acquire shares and voting rights in the Club, to enable the views of supporters to influence the decision making of the Club.
• To promote support for the Club, and to encourage new supporters regardless of their age, sex, ethnic origin, or place of residence.
• To encourage a more positive public perception of the Club.
• To promote the principle of supporter representation on the Board of the Club, and to be the vehicle for democratic elections to the Board.
• To ensure the continuance of football being played by the Club in South East London.

To strengthen bonds between the community and the Club, and encourage closer involvement of the community, regardless of age, sex or ethnic origin.
