2006 AGMIt has been another turbulent year at Millwall FC, with relegation to League One and numerous changes in the boardroom. The new regime at the Den appears to be taking us forward but has blown hot and cold when it comes to their relationship with the fans, so we are working on that relationship on a number of fronts. Whilst the Trust and many of our members have significantly increased their shareholdings in Millwall PLC in this year’s share issue, the large investments made by Theo Paphitis and the new board members have resulted in our % share diminishing. Consequently, now is the right time for the Trust to bring in some fresh blood, fresh energy and push on on various fronts. We have some new ideas which we will discuss at the AGM.. The Lions Trust is managed by the ‘Society Board’ and a new Board is elected each year. This Board will represent all Lions Trust members, and will work to achieve the objectives detailed in the Trust constitution. We are now taking nominations for a place on the new board. All Lions Trust members who are 16 and over and were members on 24th October 2006 are eligible to nominate candidates. All members who are 18 and over are eligible to stand. If more than 15 candidates are nominated, an election will be held after the AGM. The Lions Trust Board
